d.OAT was founded in Dublin in 2020 by barista Ste O’Loughlin and chef Sandy Wyer. It all started in a café kitchen, driven by frustration with oat mlks that just didn’t work in coffee. The first version we launched, Dublin Oat, was fresh, creamy, and tasted great—but with a short shelf life, it wasn’t practical for scaling up. It was stocked in some of Ireland’s best cafés, but we knew we could do better.

So, we went back to work. We spent years refining the recipe, tweaking ingredients, and testing countless batches until we cracked a shelf-stable version that pours like a dream. The result? Super tight microfoam. A clean, mellow sweetness. A smooth, creamy texture that stands up to even the most acidic specialty coffees. It’s made for coffee but just as good in breakfast, baking, and cooking.
